Manifest a Christmas Miracle
I love Christmas time. The extra effort that goes into the festive decorations at the mall, the jolly music that makes me jiggle and giggle down the grocery aisle, a parent’s doting gaze as wonder spreads across their child’s face as the Christmas tree on Main Street is lit, the love that still sparks under the mistletoe between an eighty year old married couple, and the whispers of a new romance over a shared hot chocolate by a crackling fire. Love surrounds us every day, but life seems so much sweeter at Christmas time.
“The grateful mind is constantly fixated upon the best. Therefore it tends to become the best. It takes the form or character from the best, and will receive the best.”
– Wallace D.Wattles
The holidays mentally prime us with a sense of thanksgiving, forgiveness and generosity that softens our hearts and lightens our spirits. I believe that because I am focused on appreciation, I find even more things to be thankful for. One of them being my Christmas gift from the Universe.
I can’t say when I started noticing that something beautifully unexpected happens for me in time for Christmas. But it does and it’s a wonderful feeling that gifts me with deeper appreciation and a feeling of connectedness with all of creation. It’s seldom about what I find under the Christmas tree, it’s always something that changes my life, opens the doors to new opportunities or expanded perceptions of how I view the world.
I am positive that I receive these gifts because:
- I am in an exceptionally loving and generous mindset, open to giving, receiving and believing in the miracles and magic of life, which is often suspended during the rest of the year
- I recognize and appreciate the miracles in the moment as such
- The shared holiday spirit networks the collective energies, magnifying creativity and powers of attraction
You too can use these qualities now to bring forth the miracles in your own life. As seen in social justice movements or any mass mental shift, there is power in mass consciousness. You already know the power of the social construct and how hard it can be to break away from the weight of expectations and societal norms to revel in the uniqueness of being you or in attempting to change the cultural structures that we live in.
However, there are times when the power of mass consciousness can be used to our benefit. One of these times is during the holidays because the festive spirit networks the collective energies of a population, it can magnify creativity and abundance because people are conditioned and set in the ideal state of mind for the laws of attraction: love, generosity, believing and receiving.
Sooooo…..what if instead of making our lists of resolutions for the New Year and hoping they come true, we could manifest them into reality? To do so, we must:
- know what we want to manifest
- believe we can get what we desire
- be open to receiving what we want
“The first secret of getting what you want is knowing what you want.”
– Arthur D. Hlavaty
In order to live a life that we love, we have to know what it looks like so that not only can we work towards it but so that we can recognize our ideal when it’s within our grasp and rejoice! Too many of us are living lives of dissatisfaction simply because we have never been clear on what would truly make us happy and fulfilled.
What we focus on is what we see. If we continue to concentrate on what we don’t want in our lives rather than what we do want, we will continue to see more of and thus receive the negative. On the flip side, if we focus on the positive, we see more and more to appreciate and thus receive affirmations. So if we focus on our purpose, our energy and passion will cause us to act towards our objective and open our minds to recognize situations that will attract that outcome into our reality.
“If you can remove your self-doubt and believe in yourself, you can achieve what you never thought possible.”
― Roy T. Bennett
We are extremely powerful creators. Even indecisions are decisions about our worth and we are manifesting our truth in every moment. Belief is the cornerstone of the foundation of our realities. We do what we believe that we can do. We receive what we believe we deserve. The magic is found when we choose to be conscious creators, weaving our dreams and hopes into actuality and being the masters of our fate rather than victims of circumstance.
“Miracles happen every day, change your perception of what a miracle is and you’ll see them all around you.”
– Jon Bon Jovi
When we do nothing, nothing happens. Know that our dreams will come to fruition as we work towards them but be open to knowing that our dreams can manifest in unimagined and endless ways. The universe is always speaking to us, but few bother to hear the message. Be open to being magically inspired by the universe to open new doors, follow unforeseen paths, developing surprising new relationships and receiving miraculous windfalls.
Your heart will guide you to exactly where you need to be and what you need to do. All you have to do is listen to your intuition. Be open to the messages of the universe and accept the opportunities that flow your way.
What personal holiday miracle are you hoping for from the universe? Better yet, what are you planning on manifesting in the year to come?
